Solar Energy Helping Interplanetary Travel

Space travel has always been one of the goals of the modern society and because no present technology is even remotely capable of providing the necessary speed or reliability to help us travel to distant planets, but the scientists think they discovered the answer to this problem with solar energy.Solar energy is not only light and heat, it is also a very powerful fuel for future spaceships. In fact, you could at it like the wind that blows into sales on earth and helps ships move. The future spaceships will have giant solar sales made out of an aluminum foil that reflects the solar energy and pushes the ship forward, steadily increasing the speed to reach a tenth of the speed of light. That is the goal of this project, to create a ship capable traveling with that kind of speed which will make the solar system a smaller place. We could reach the sun in less than 2 hours at that speed. If this sounds hard to believe you should try to imagine millions of particles forming the solar energy hitting that immense foil and slowly accelerating the entire ship. In space, all things are much lighter than they are on earth and because of the fact that there is no air to slow you down, you can travel much faster with much smaller amounts of energy.Solar energy is the answer to many issues on earth because while it is free and it comes in large amounts every day, you can harvest it and use it in different ways to achieve different goals. For now, we should stick to using it in order to produce electrical energy and try saving the planet before it is too late. In the future, when technology allows it, we will surely find more uses for it.
